PROJECT STATEMENT
Urban tall structures seem to touch the sky. As a whole, they are an integral part of the cityscape. By visually dividing them into separate pieces, the structures turn into outlines against the sky, while the sky itself becomes a plain form. A clear sense of a scale loses its predominance. The contrast of the emptiness and the parallels of the buildings create visual tension. This intentional approach elevates an intriguing effect of isolation and represents the urban space in simplified segments as if they are sketches.
